Who we are

Croquet Queensland (ABN 96 056 186 273) runs the Come & Try Croquet programme across Queensland. We operate this website at comeandtrycroquet.com. Questions about this policy can be sent to admin@croquetqld.org.

What we collect

When you sign up through this site, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your postcode (used to find your nearest club)

We don't collect payment details, government identifiers, or sensitive personal information.

Why we collect it

We use your details to:

• Match you with the nearest croquet clubs
• Book you into a Come & Try session
• Send you follow-up emails about the programme and croquet in Queensland

Who we share it with

Your details are shared with the volunteer organiser at your matched club so they can confirm your booking and welcome you on the day. We do not sell your data to third parties.

We use Loops (loops.so) to send emails on our behalf. Your email address is stored in their system to manage the email sequence. Their privacy policy is at loops.so/privacy.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — tracks page visits and form completions. Data is processed by Google under their privacy policy.
• Google Ads — measures conversions from our advertising campaigns.
• Meta Pixel — measures conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads.

These tools use cookies stored in your browser. You can block them using your browser settings or a tool like uBlock Origin. They don't affect the signup form itself.

How long we keep your data

We keep your details for as long as you remain a prospect or member of the programme. If you haven't attended a session and haven't engaged with our emails after 12 months, we'll remove your record.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you can:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time (there's an unsubscribe link in every email we send)
